Tech News Source: Tech News article LUMIN Technology has announced that it is to launch a crowdfunding campaign to fund its future production of solar power modules.
The technology will be developed and built by Lawrence Technological University in collaboration with the Lawrence University Energy Research Institute.
The solar power module will be a modular device, which means that it can be easily swapped out.
The campaign, to be launched in October 2018, is aimed at raising $100,000 to create the modules that will be made from LUMin Technology’s patented materials and a unique combination of photovoltaic technology and micro-scale materials.
The funding campaign, which is aimed towards achieving its funding goal of $200,000, is the second phase of the company’s crowdfunding campaign.
The LUMins Solar Power Module is expected to be the first module that will enable people to generate electricity from solar power sources that use existing, well-established technologies.
This includes solar PV, biomass and wind energy.
It will enable energy storage, power-generating devices, and even photovacuum pumps, which will be able to generate energy from solar panels on top of the building and power the homes and businesses around them.
The project is a joint venture between the university and Lawrence Technologically, which has been involved in the development of the solar panels, micro-chips, and other solar modules for more than 20 years.
The university is investing in Lawrence Technologies technology, which provides the solar modules that are currently being used in buildings.
The LUMiN project will provide a platform for LUMint technology to commercialize their technology.
